Is £5m Spurs FLOP on his way to Birmingham?
by milkybarkid on September 16th, 2008This midfielder has been given permission to leave White Hart Lane as he is surplus to requirements under the Ramos revolution!
Birmingham City have been given permission take Tottenham midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng on loan with a view to making the move permanent.
But manager Alex McLeish wants to find out if the player is committed to playing a part in Birmingham’s bid to win promotion from the Championship before completing the deal. McLeish insists he will not sign the player if he is a ‘reluctant conscript’.
Boateng cost Spurs £5million when he arrived from Hertha Berlin last year to sign for Martin Jol, but he has been frozen out of Juande Ramos’s plans and Birmingham are offering Boating a chance to resurrect his career following negotiations between Blues managing director Karren Brady and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. (Daily Mail)
Boateng arrived at White Hart Lane with a reputation as a bit of a showman. Big things were expected of him, but new boss Juande Ramos has frozen the German-Ghanaian midfielder out of the first-team picture. Do Tottenham fans think Boateng was given a fair crack of the whip before being offered around? Given Spurs’ dreadful start to the season, is it worth giving him another try before getting rid for good?

The Ramos revolution, huh?! Where’s he planning to take Spurs to the Championship. Completely useless manager that has not got a clue. Spurs are bottom of the table sounds familiar cause Jol got sacked because of the same reason and hopefully this Spanish moron will get the chop.
Has he been given a fair chance at Spurs quite obviously not!
