Manchester United star’s future still uncertain despite summer reports

Argentine international striker Carlos Tevez is technically on loan to Manchester United at the moment, even though summer reports had him signing for some 30 million odd quid it turns out that the deal is not yet finalised. However the former Corinthians striker is intent to make the loan deal a permanent one.

Speaking ahead of Man United’s clash with Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday at Old Trafford, Tevez admitted that he would love to finalise a new contract as soon as possible.

“From the first moment I came here I would have loved to sign a long-term contract. Last year was a very happy season and it would be wonderful if the chairman put a long-term contract in front of me. If he did that I would sign it without a doubt.”

What do Manchester United supporters think about the recent news? Is Tevez priority number one next summer?
