Juande Ramos sticking with Spurs – for now

Time is running out for Tottenham Hotspur manager Juande Ramos as Spurs continue to stutter in the Premier League. There have been a few rumours suggesting that the former Sevilla coach could even hand in his resignation before long and travel back to his native Spain.

But Ramos has refuted those claims, saying he loves his life in north London and that his job as the manager of Spurs is assured. He said:

“I love London and Tottenham. I am living a marvellous experience. I think the pressure on the team is high. We have a young squad and being in the bottom three doesn’t permit players to play with freedom. The problem is that we need adaptation. Some players arrived at the last moment and they practically haven’t trained with the team. It is normal when there are big changes to need time. We need to work hard each day to improve.”

Same old, same old! Spurs are in the bottom three just like they were at the start of last season.
