Manchester City were very recently linked with a multi-million pound bid for Manchester United star striker Carlos Tevez. There have been some rumours floating around that City could launch a January bid for the Argentine international forward.
But the player’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, has dismissed all those reports and has claimed that the former Corinthians striker is just days away from penning a new deal with the reigning Premier League and European champions Manchester United. He said:
“Carlos is not joining Manchester City. All this talk linking him with them is a complete load of nonsense. He is a Manchester United player through and through and is looking forward to signing a long-term contract with them in the near future.”
So that seals it, doesn’t it? Tevez is NOT going to be a Manchester City player, ever!
