Tottenham are ready to pounce for Newcastle United midfielder Charles N’Zogbia in January.
The People says N’Zogbia is among several players weighing up their futures on Tyneside and Spurs are monitoring developments. (Tribalfootball.com)
N’Zogbia has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane for 18 months or so and the talented predominantly left-sided player could well be a decent signing. Available for around £8m, the young Frenchman may well have had enough of the mess in the north-east and has voiced his intent to move to London and this could well be a case of perfect timing for all parties. Do Tottenham fans think that N’Zogbia could be a good signing for a team who must surely be due some good results soon?

It’s time to go big or go home. We barely spent any money this summer. Use what we have to get Capel and have done with it. We need to stabilize our team and stop chopping and changing. Get Capel, a topnotch striker and another cover for CD. No more N’Zogbia buy him and keep your fingers crossed moves. Play O’Hara as holding midfielder and sell Dawson plus get rid of the rest of the deadwood. Then leave things alone. Next summer no more multiple changes; it’s very unsettling. A lot of the players hardly know each other let alone compete as a team in the prem. Some of them can’t even speak more than a little pigeon English to each other. Ramos needs time to bring this team together without the pressure OUR OWN FANS are starting to put on him. Get behind them or, in my opinion, you are not a supporter of the club. Your booing and moaning is just adding to the problem.

What spuds need to do is buy a load of players in January and then give them time to gel until May or so. Then start gelling and adapting again in the championship next year.

If played correctly it stabilizes the defensive unit and going forward it creates havoc for the opposition with attacking players across the pitch bombing forward with a free license in the knowledge that the defensive midfield cover is there.

This so called youngster from Newcastle may in time be ok, but we need someone right now to pull his socks up and drag us back up the league tableand fast. Graham Roberts could still come out of retirement in his 40’s and do a better job at the back. As most of you know on here i tend to defend all the insults aimed at our famous club, but i to am very pissed off now with the under acheiveing team each game so far. So lets hope that the team to face Newcastle show some grit and determination to grind out a good result. Yids 4 me 4 ever but come on lads earn your money get going up the table. and Plavychencho pull your socks up help Bent, and maybe we can restore some pride back at the Lane. Firstly we need to stop refrerring to Newcastle as a club in crisis when we are rock bottom of the premiership. The worst thing that happened to us was winning that trophy last season as ever since it has left the club and its supporters seriously deluded by covering up the obvious problems we have. The signings we made in the summer were the wrong ones, we should never have sold Chimbonda, Keane and Berba had to be sold, unfortunately it appears like we have replaced them both with the new Rasiak. Now take away Keane and Berbas goals from last season and we would be playing championship football. Ramos’s style of management may have been a success in Spain, but with his inability to speak English along with his obsession with playing players out of position, we are in serious SHITE! With the fixtures weve had so far this season we should be near the top, the only top four team we have played is Chelsea!!!!!!

I disagree. We should continue to refer to Newcastle as a club in crisis because they are a complete shambles. We may not be much better off at the present time but i always take solace from the fact i don’t support those perenial no hopers.
The N’Zogbia thing is bollox. We all know Comoli leaves his transfer decisions till deadline day so we should not discuss any more of these “rumours” until 31st Jan (11pm) when they may actually have some substance. Not sure we need any more £8m journey men anyway.

Well yes we have had a shit start but Man u have had a slow start i dont hear anyone slagging them off. Firstly im a true supporter and just cos we r shit at the mo does not stop me being a Spurs man through and through, so you so called supporters that come out of the wood work when your team do well but hide in a crisis you just piss me off. Ive been spurs all my 47 yrs and ive seen it all ok, so fuck off and concentrate on your teams. We are and will always be a big club our trophy cabinet shows that. over the years we have always won things. How long since Geordies won anything? How many FA cups? wankers the lot of you. And to the so called spurs fans slagging there own go fuck off to the toilets known as Emirates. They only spout shit, a long way to go yet.
