Atletico Madrid’s 20-year old Argentine international striker Sergio Aguero has progressed to be one of the best footballers in the world in the past couple of seasons and all of Europe’s top clubs are bracing themselves for a run-in for the player’s signature in the summer.
It seems that newly money-blessed Manchester City of the Premier League are eager to land the player. So much so that it is reported that City are ready to buy out Aguero’s six-year contract at Atletico worth an estimated 60 million euro.
Atletico Madrid play Getafe in La Liga in midweek and it’s been reported that some representatives of Man City shall be at the match to watch for themselves how good the ‘New Maradona’ is. The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have already been linked with Aguero and now it is Man City.
However, it still remains unlikely that Sergio Aguero would do a Robinho and join the Man City revolution.
