Given all that is going on at White Hart Lane, it should come as no surprise that yet another player has been linked with a move to the ailing club. However, this one could well be a signing well worth making!

At 30, Van Buyten has been around; he has had successful spells in his native Belgiumy, France and Germany and also had a short period at Manchester City a few years back. He could well be a calming influence on the club and he would probably be keen on a move to the Premier League, not least because under new manager Jürgen Klinsmann, Bayern are not exactly firing on all cylinders.
