Spurs to move for TOP QUALITY £8m signing to solve Central Midfield problem!

After successfully nabbing Chris Gunter from the Bluebirds, it appears that Juande is ready to return to Cardiff City to snare another exciting prospect!

TOTTENHAM sporting director Damien Comolli may be skating on thin ice at White Hart Lane but he is already making plans for the January transfer window.
And top of the shopping list is Welsh midfielder Joe Ledley.
The Cardiff City star, 21, has been the subject of bids from Wolves, Everton and most recently Stoke but Spurs will try to finally break the Championship club’s resolve in the next transfer window.
Boss Juande Ramos, who appears to have doubts about Jermaine Jenas, believes he needs a tough central midfielder — but the price for Ledley is likely to be £8million. (News of the World)

Dave Jones’ side do manage to produce more than their fair share of young gems and the Ninian Park manager must be sick of seeing his players head for the exit. Ledley could well follow the likes of Gunter and Aaron Ramsey into the Premier League. However, what Joe has that the aforementioned didn’t is a wealth of experience for player of such a young age. The 21-year-old tough-tackling midfield man has already amassed over 150 starts for the Welsh outfit and has 24 full international caps to his name.

If he is available for £8m, then I think that would be a bargain and he has the quality to make an impact in the Premier League, but would Cardiff sell? Do Tottenham think that the club needs to buy a central midfielder and would filling that position in January help them recover from such a poor start?
