Agree with everybody, and the same goes for Giggs. The only thing both these guys have lost is their pace, but THAT'S ALL. They can both play for another 2 or 3 years. Giggs is just fucking legend, okay, and besides he's playing generally in the center nowadays, which he's equally good at. Srsly, fucked up article.

What a load of cobblers .. Totally incorrect assessment.I would thing that this is written by a "new" football fan. Scholes ( and I'm not a ManU fan, ) has been possibly one of the most underrated Midfielders, and in my opinion and in the opinion of almost every football manager in the Premier League one of the best midfielders of his generation, and I am afraid to say , probably like Giggsy, the last of their kind.True professional footballers, with loyalty to their Club and not money. You dont see Scholes in the media every day spouting out nonsense like some of his colleagues. They might have loast a yard or two of space, but their footballing brain is still very much intact, aside from Scholes tackling,( ever see Lampard tackle) he an almost complete midfielder, who controls games, proof is in the fact that most people dont notice, thats the sign, he plays killers balls at the right time, takes an extra touch only when he can, and releases the ball at the right time, and scores the odd goal, though these are a rare occasion nowdays. After the CL final Scholes had to sit on the bus for 25 mins on his own as he is not into the "fame" of football. He will be a huge loss to ManU, and Fergie has been looking for years for a like for like replacement. He has been the unsung hero in ManU for years by the general public, but I guarantee you not by any footballler as they all know how good he is. And ManU have no younger, better replacement at teh moment. So no I think you are completely and utterly wrong

have you ever heard of the proverb-"look before you leap"
because if you have, you need to have a serious mental check-up.
just think for two minutes before switching on your machine and writing any 'bul&sh^it' that comes to your mind. Believe me its not a very hard thing to do......THINK!!

strange how u think his best days are behind him when previous england managers have asked him and in some cases begged him 2 return!yes we have cover like last season when anderson took over but a player of his quality is a loss how significant time will tell, and with the likes of carrick and hargreaves also out then to a degree we could have done without this.scholes is to utd what the likes of pirlo are to their club..."the brains"someone u can trust with the ball.please...

I very much disagree with you. Scholes shows little in his play that his best years are behind him. He is not as consistant perhaps, but on his day he is sharper than ever. He will be missed a lot. But I agree, we have good cover in that area, but no one is his equal.
