Arsenal want £2m NEXT BIG THING teen: Wenger lines up next Walcott!
by Mr Comfort on October 7th, 2008This incredibly talented 15-year-old is apparently likened to Theo Walcott, so no surprise then that according to this report, Arsene is lining up a bid!

Not willing to play the big-spending, credit-crunch busting game are Chelsea and Arsenal, so we all know who to blame when the crash comes. Rather than hurl their money around, they want to get 15-year-old Barnsley whelp Reuben Noble-Lazarus on the cheap. Barnsley reckon £2m might be more the order of the day. (The Guardian)
It seems incredible to think a player of such an age was ready to pit his wits in the Championship, but apparently the kid was playing against 18-year-olds whilst he was just 12! He must be having the time of his life, and it was only a matter of time before the big guns appeared on the scene. Of course, there is a danger that people might be getting ahead of themselves. After all, it’s hard to know just how successful such a young talent could become, but if there is a manager in the country who can get the most out of a player that shows maturity beyond his years then it would be the Gunners boss.
Do Arsenal fans think that £2m would be a fair price to pay for the Barnsley kid?

Great another f**king kid! Don’t get me wrong I’m sure the boy’s talented but don’t take the mick Wenger, keep the £1.6m and put it towards someone who will actually keep us in the top four!!!

Wats the deal with Arsenal chasing after kids these days… So what if he’s 15? What are we going for next? Some 2 year old? Then train him up? Then sell him to Barca, Milan or Real?
