With Tottenham’s season currently on life support, the last thing the club needs is an injury to one of their top players. As the saying goes, “when it rains, it pours” and this seems to be one of those times, as the White Hart Lane club now have to come to grips with the possibility of not having a certain Russian striker for up to a month!
Tottenham face a battle with Russia over Roman Pavlyuchenko, who is wanted in Moscow for tests on his injured ankle.
He came off against Hull last Sunday and a specialist has told him he has torn ligaments and will be out for a month. (Daily Mail)
Whilst Pavlyuchenko hasn’t been on his game since he got to Tottenham, he did give the club another dimension on the pitch as he got used to the Premier League. This just seems to be another black cloud at White Hart Lane.
What do Spurs supporters think about the potential loss? Will you miss his play over the next month?
