Close your eyes for a second and imagine having the opportunity to start your club roster from scratch with a loaded chequebook. You have the chance to go out and build a squad around one player that will ultimately mean the difference between your club failing or succeeding.

Cesc Fabergas is excellent but is no Mascherano. Gerrard is magnificent, and so is Kaka. Alonso is an intelligent player classy. But I’d never change Liverpools trio.

Within the prem,would have to fabregas(and im not an arsenal fan)as his positional sense is perfect,his wait of pass,his football brain far exceeds that of gerrard or any 1 else.and considering his age is quite remarkable…the only other 1 would be scholes as he is of the same ability.
And before any1 starts i do rate gerrard highly but i feel that he has not got the same qualities as he bases his game on adrenilin and force,rather than composure.
