Liverpool have been knocked back in setting up a £5m January move for Borussia Dortmund’s free-scoring Polish right winger Jakub Blaszczykowski. (Daily Mail)

Whilst Liverpool looks to have been rebuffed on the first try, the thought of the club going after another winger has to make Liverpool supporters happy. With the rumours going around about a potential sell-off of winger Jermaine Pennant, this could be the chance for Liverpool to go after a more consistent option. Blaszczykowski has impressed recently in the Bundesliga, however, it remains to be seen if that could transfer over to the Premier League.
