Brazilian star makes eyes at Manchester City…
by Dexter on October 11th, 2008The Scotsman brings us word that Ronaldo fancies a move to Man City; tragically the Ronaldo in question is the porky 32-year-old one with knackered knees, rather than the sprightly Portugueezer who currently plies his twinkle-toed trade for Man Utd.
Don’t forget to check out Online Football Manager!
Ronaldo is currently getting back on his footballing feet with Brazilian outfit Flamengo, but he is already eyeing a return to the big time (if you count playing for Man City “big time”). Ronaldo said of his future:
“Paris is a city that I love and they have a great project to win the league title,”
“However, at (Manchester) City I have Robinho, who is a great friend of mine.
“In the past few days we have spoken. For the time being, my only aim is to return to playing, the rest will follow.
“There’s a great bond between Flamengo and me, it’s the team I love.
“It’s true that they would want me to stay. But this will remain a great dream because at this time I have no intention of making a decision.” (The Scotsman)
Man City are a team dripping in dosh, so do they really need to mess around with an ageing and fading star with a history of injuries?
Anyone in a Krakatoan funk of molten fury over this article? Why not discuss it on the COS Forum?!….
