Manchester City may have Jo and Robinho at the striker spot, but that still won’t stop manager Mark Hughes from going after another class striker to pair with the Brazilian duo.

Hughes has made it clear from the start of his tenure at Man City that he wanted Santa Cruz at his club. In the summer window it appeared to not be a matter of if, but when the striker would join the club. But with the addition of Roque’s brother to the Blackburn, this deal could be even more difficult to finalise. One would assume that Man City would almost surely have to make this a packaged deal. Regardless, the addition of the Paraguayan ace to the club would be a massive boost to their quality.
What do City supporters think about the idea? Would you like Hughes to go after Santa Cruz in January?
