Second yellow could have been a straight red so i think it evens itself out. Any player on a yellow who makes such a ridiculous tackle deserves to be sent off.

The first yellow card should never have been given so therefore the second yellow card should have been his first. He moved out from the wall after the ball was touched which is the right thing to do, look at the replay and see for yourself. The ref pretty much ensured the game belonged to Liverpool.
