Are Arsenal, Tottenham or Chelsea any nearer to this £22m STRIKER or is this SILLY paper talk?

It’s tough to know what to believe and yet more speculation about this Dutch scoring sensation could mean a million different things, could it mean Wenger would consider making a bid, who knows!

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s agent admits no talks with Ajax are planned over a new contract.
With Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham among clubs monitoring the Dutchman, his agent Arnold Oosterveer has confirmed to Voetbal International there are no plans to discuss new terms.
Huntelaar’s current deal expires in 2010, leaving next summer as the last major window Ajax has to cash in on the prolific forward. (tribalfootball.com)

There is no doubting that Huntelaar is a talent who would be welcomed by just about every team on the planet and the Dutch Eredivisise has a habit of losing any talent that gets some attention and this Ajax man is no different. What for instance does it mean that no talks are planned over a new contract? Could mean there is no rush or that he is hedging his bets, probably the latter. Lets face it Klaas will leave Holland sometime in the next two or three seasons, I think that’s a fact but who will bid for him? Well Wenger is said to be a fan as is Ramos and if Chelsea lose Didier Drogba then they could well do with another lethal finisher. Remember Manchester United were also said to be interested before they opted for Berbatov. So where do fans of the three clubs rumoured to be eyeing up the former PSV man think he will be come 2010? Remember we are talking about a striker who has already amassed 177 goals and he’s still only 25 years old!
