The Ghana international midfielder is a free agent after being released by Fenerbahce and has attracted interest from Portsmouth and West Ham.

There is no doubting the ability that Appiah has, but a lengthy spell out with a complicated injury could be a concern, as could his wage demands. However, given that the player is available for nothing, then naturally there is more cash to invest in the player’s demands and this could be a signing that Juande will come to appreciate.
The battling midfielder has great defensive abilities, as well as pushing forward in a manner not unlike a certain Patrick Vieira. Do White Hart Lane fans think a free move such as this would be a win/win thing?
