No Reina and then Van Der Sar? Come on! At least over-rated Adebayor not in it! How about Skrtel? And why are you telling me to slow down when I just started posting?!?!

Edwin van der Sar, while a really good keeper, doesn’t belong in that company, and nor, any longer, does Buffon.
I’ve nothing against the Dutch, but van Nistelrooy shouldn’t be there either. Does a couple of good seasons with Spurs warrant Berbatov?
Anyway, lots of talent. Would be interesting to pick a First 11 and Second 11 and actually get them to play an exhibition game for children’s charity.
Cheers, all.

Where is Skrtel in this listing??? Strange when you consider Liverpool have never lost a game when he is on the pitch!! I think UEFA should do their homework before announcing these lists. I think the list is picked by biased journalists myself.
AussieRed - October 21st, 2008 at 11:47 pm
How can you have van der Saar and Cech in there and not have the goalkeeper that has won 3 consecutive golden glove awards since he’s been in the Premier League, which funnily enough has been 3 seasons. That being Pepe Reina. Even if they are blind to see, at least us Liverpool faithful know. I understand not having Carragher on the list as last year he was under par for his high standards, but as someone has said, where is Skrtel? He was immense last season.
