CRAZY £3m Spurs target wants INSANE wage packet: Steer clear Juande!
by Mr Comfort on October 22nd, 2008This in-form has-been has essentially put the kybosh on a deal that Ramos should steer clear of anyway!

The Mirror says Heskey is looking for an £80,000-a-week deal as he plays out his current Wigan contract.
The size of Heskey’s demands mean he could prove too expensive in the January window, with potential suitors such as Aston Villa and Tottenham unwilling to also pay a transfer fee.
But Heskey is relaxed about playing out his final season at Wigan, where he is already on £50,000 a week.
The Latics are reluctant to meet his demands, but his advisors believe they will be able to secure a salary elsewhere that reflects his status as an international. (tribalfootball.com)
Quite how Heskey has the nerve to ask for £80k a week is beyond me. Just because he has a decent run of games, is the footballing world supposed to forget his past failures? Let’s be clear, Emile isn’t exactly prolific in front of goal! He has managed five goals in his last 38 Wigan starts and, whilst he is obviously seen as a player who helps others score, he sure as hell isn’t worth such a wage packet and he must know that!
Quite frankly, I think every Tottenham fan on the planet is breathing a collective sigh of relief because they didn’t want him to join the first place. A good performance against Croatia is surely not enough to blur the nation’s vision to the extent that they would deem this 30-year-old worthy of such an obscene amount of money, do they?
