This source suggests that the end is nigh for a certain White Hart Lane employee, but could it really all be done and dusted in a matter of days?
Spain bound Ramos and Tottenham to part company within a week
With the news that Athletico Madrid have shown an interest in Juande Ramos and Tottenham have already made discreet approaches for other managers the days of the Ramos road show at Tottenham are more or less over.
Even if Tottenham defeat Udinese, Bolton, Arsenal and Liverpool in the next sequence of games it would still not be enough to keep the respective parties together.
As well as Athletico Madrid there are at least two other Spanish La Liga clubs interested in Ramos services and a return to Spain is an almost certainty. (footylatest.com)
It must be a discussion that has taken place between all Tottenham fans in recent weeks, should the club sack Ramos (or indeed allow him to make a quiet exit), or should they stick by the Spaniard and encourage him to dig himself out of this mess? I personally feel that Ramos has what it takes to resolve the situation, and the onus is more on his talented squad to start performing sooner rather than later. Have Tottenham fans now had enough of Juande, or is he still the right man for the job?
