From Russia with love: Tottenham striker shows distinct lack of commitment to cause
by stresster on October 24th, 2008It’s not hard to identify the Spurs fans these days, but is the club going down? Probably not, according to the bookmakers, although it’s hard to tell after a fifth of the Premier League season gone by.
There doesn’t exactly seem to be one main problem as to why the season has gone so badly for them, but they’re now stuck in an almighty rut and the game against Bolton might look easy on paper, but it will clearly be a struggle to land the three points.
Therefore, you need everyone pulling in the right direction, although it doesn’t sound as though everyone is fully focused on helping the team! The Daily Mirror reports that the talented Roman Pavlyuchenko will be jetting off to Russia in December to fulfil his role as a local politician. The striker will jet off a few days before Spurs play Manchester United, thus demonstrating where his loyalties lie!
He said recently: “Despite the need for me to be in Britain often, I’m not going to be absent from Stavropol for long.”
He is planning to leave London just three days before Spurs’ clash with Manchester United on December 13.
And with flights to Stavropol taking eight hours each way, he is likely to be exhausted by the time he returns.
A Russian source said: “They would be mad to let him go. But who’s going to argue with Vladimir Putin?”
Of course a Russian source made that comment, of course they did. Certainly not the bloke who wrote the article, oh no. What do Tottenham supporters make of this story? A bit storm in a teacup or does it illustrate that Pavlyuchenko was not the right sort of signing for Spurs?

just shows the world what a joke of a club that my Tottenham has turned into.
I am at a all time low as regards my faith in Tottenham.
Please, please someone come and save us.
It is a sin to see a club like Spurs being made a laughing stock by other fans and the media alike.
The captain is crocked, are centre forward wants to be a politician, the other one is on loan and the third is faking crap.
We have two midfielders who want to carry a mirror along with them.
We have no left winger and no DMF.
We have a nutcase in nets.
A muppet for a DF and a manager who can neither talk english or who knows his best team and does not pick his own players.
WE ARE GOING DOWN
I SAY AGAIN WE ARE GOING DOWN
DOES ANYONE CARE, SHOW SOME BOTTLE AND TAKE YOUR BALLS OUT OF THE FRIDGE.

ive supported tottenham since i was eleven yrs old and i have never ever in all those years been so down and disbelieving of what i have seen they have no passion what so ever no heart jenas as a captain what a joke captains are supposed to lead by example he couldnt lead his dog he runs about huffing puffing and stops when the ball goes the other way no one tracks back the best we can hope for is to scrape out the bottom 3 before the season ends but my feeling is championship football next season ramos shouldnt take all the blame but when u think he sold a whole team and though he could buy a new one thats beyond belief you have to do it a bit at a time even i know that why couldnt he we need a new manager someone that can install some backbone in a side that has no leader and no passion and NO HOPE OF STAYING UP

to all True spurs fans .
WE ALL! know the Situation…..and pointing blame at the moment is futile.
THFC needs your support now more than ever as the club has to survive beyond any change of staff etc……….the players need all the positive noise on the terraces to combat this situation over the next few weeks…….
we have the power to change some of this and we need to prove we are great fans for our club
Cmon you Spurs!!!!!!!!

Oh dear. People you do not support a team just because they win all the time. I am a spurs fan and yer i do get some stick from my friends and the headlines are not to good either about tottenham. But I am a loyal spurs fan no matter if we win or lose and I am a 100 percent behind our boys. I am disapointed but this will never result in me not watching them. Im beginning to feel disapointed with the fans now. Keep our heads up! Comon Yids!
