Arsenal’s recent rough patch during the early part of the season could have spelled certain doom for the club. A loss against Hull at the Emirates and a draw at Sunderland put Arsene’s club on notice that this year wouldn’t be near as easy as last year’s dream start.
But instead of wilting under the pressure, the club decided to follow the two prior matches up with a come-from-behind win against Everton and a 5-2 blasting of Fenerbahce. Whilst two games don’t make up a season, the recent offensive firepower could mean Arsenal are finally turning the corner. Even with the loss and the draw, Arsenal find themselves only four points off the pace in the league.
