Newcastle’s French flier Charles N’Zogbia is being lined up for a return home in the transfer window by Paris St Germain.
N’Zogbia has been in and out of the side in a hit-and-miss season and could be heading to PSG, if they can agree a deal with the Toon.
N’Zogbia would cost around £4million, which may attract Premier League interest. (Daily Mirror)
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly already started making initial enquires about Newcastle United midfielder Charles N’Zogbia, with a view to a move to the North London club in January.
22-year-old N’Zogbia had been linked with a move from St James’ Park to White Hart Lane in the summer, with Spurs local rivals Arsenal also said to be interested in the versatile left-sided player. (Premiershiplatest.com)
Whenever I have seen the left-sided man in action for the Magpies, he had the style and verve I associate with Arsene Wenger and apparently the Arsenal boss has enquired about the 22-year-old in the past. If Kinnear does let N’Zogbia leave, then I am sure there will be no shortage of takers.
Even though he can be a touch inconsistent, he clearly has talent to burn but just needs the right environment to let his ability shine through and maybe that could happen at the Emirates. What do Gunners fans think? After all, he can play in a number of positions and is still young enough to be very good value for the relatively small fee?
