Spurs READY for £9m bids from Premier League rivals for STAR!
by Mr Comfort on October 28th, 2008With all the talk of who Harry Redknapp will be bringing into the club, there are bound to be players he doesn’t see as part of his long-term plans and, with that in mind, a number of clubs are forming a queue for this hotshot!

Premiership rivals are monitoring Darren Bent’s situation at Tottenham.
The Mirror says new Spurs boss Harry Redknapp could reluctantly sacrifice the former Charlton striker to raise much-needed transfer funds in January.
Bent remains highly-rated, with both Everton and Sunderland desperate to prise him away from Spurs last summer. (tribalfootball.com)
Darren Bent was on a hiding to nothing when he arrived at the club for such an inflated transfer fee, but to be fair to him, he didn’t complain. Last term, he did all he could given the playing time he was given and had a great pre-season, this term he has been one of the few players to perform adequately; he has after all managed five goals in nine starts. If Harry does decide to sell the former Charlton man, then I am sure he can become a big hit wherever he goes. At his best he is definitely a 20 goal-a-season striker. Do Tottenham fans think that their new boss should re-think this potential sale?

Bent is going nowhere. We have already sold three strikers this year. we’re not selling anymore. What a totally stupid article.

“At his best he is definitely a 20 goal-a-season striker” u wont finish anywhere in the league if your best striker score only 20 goals
