Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Andrei Arshavin’s frustrations at Zenit St Petersburg.
The Russian international is fed-up with his treatment by Zenit management and fumed: “Zenit keep saying if there’s a good offer, no one will hold me.
“Frankly I have reasons to think otherwise.” (tribalfootball.com)

£22m-rated Arshavin was of course tantalisingly close to a move to Tottenham in the summer, but he stuck it out at Zenit who have struggled this term after winning the title in 2007, and will probably finish outside the Champions League chase for next term. The 27-year-old was obviously a big hit at the European Championships, and Wenger is known to be a fan, but would he make such a huge bid for the attacking midfielder? Do Gunners fans think the club will make a move for Arshavin?
