Rafa continues to build for what promises to be a bright future, and now he is running the rule on a very talented young striker who can’t stop scoring!
Liverpool have joined the race for Brazilian sensation Keirrison.
The Coritiba striker, 19, has Barcelona and Valencia battling for his signature as he prepares to leave this season.
The Mirror says Keirrison’s agents have been in touch with Liverpool encouraging them to bid for the striker. (tribalfootball.com)
19-year-old Keirrison is on fire in the Brazilian top tier at present, scoring goals at will for the relatively small Coritiba club. His goals helped the Southern Brazilian club into the Premier League, and he has managed 16 goals this term, catching the eye of many European sides. Liverpool have a great academy set up which is helping to bring out some very talented kids and, along with this steady progression, Benitez has bought a few teenagers from abroad. All in all, the club looks to have a very healthy base for the next generation and capturing a quality player like this £9m-rated youngster will only help matters. Do Liverpool fans believe the club can finally end their title drought this season?
