Don’t forget to check out Online Football Manager!
We all have our favourites, games that stick in the memory. They could be games from the recent past or even prior to the Premier League’s formation. Perhaps some would consider the 4-4 at the Emirates to be worthy of making the list, but there may be some stiff competition.
As always, you can use our helpful cut-and-paste thingy below, but do not fill the whole thing if you can’t. Sometimes just the one game springs to mind, so post your comment and see what your fellow fans think!

In terms of emotion Tottenham 3-4 Man City without question. 3-0 down at half time with Barton sent off. No contest. Not particularly the best football in the world, but certainly one of the most entertaining and if you were a city fan, the most incredible game of all time.

Leeds 1 Rangers 2 (1992) in European Cup. Aggregate 2-4. Proved that Scottish Champions then could match their English equivalents before Sky money helped the PL.

Istanbul. No contest. Biggest match in club football, the ultimate underdog story, against the might of Milan. Every true Liverpool fan I’ve spoken to say it was the greatest night of their life.

Liverpool Milan, 3-3 CL FINAL 2005 ISTANBUL. No other game comes close.
fid1892 - October 31st, 2008 at 9:59 am
Bit harsh there Jim – to be fair, not many people gave Liverpool too much of a hope ….. especially at half time.
By your logic, Manchester United (3 European Cups) v Nottingham Forest (2 European Cups) would not classify as an underdog story if Forest won ?
jebote - October 31st, 2008 at 1:18 pm

liverpool 3-3 milan
