Three years without silverware must be having an effect on the club’s loyal following, but is it wrong for the fans to even consider a life without Arsene?
There is a great deal of anger and irritation around the Emirates at the moment, anger that stems from what appears to be another season where the club seems to shoot itself in the foot.
Some have pointed to the lack of experienced signings, and others are left bewildered by recent tactical decisions (such as dropping the three best players from the Spurs line-up for the Stoke City clash). However, given everything that the French genius has done for the club in his decade plus at the club, it could be considered churlish to chant for his dismissal, but at the same time Arsene mustn’t be allowed to rest on his laurels.
So the question for Gunners supporters is whether they have considered, albeit quietly to themselves, whether Mr Wenger may need a wake up call or even the axe. In my opinion, I believe that the former Monaco man is a fantastic boss who deserves the job for life, but then I am not an Arsenal fan so therefore I may not be qualified to talk.
