This French-based attacker has issued a not too subtle shout to any Premier League clubs wishing to purchase him, but is anyone listening?

Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has made a ‘come and get me’ plea to Premiership clubs.
Tottenham, Manchester City and Newcastle United were among clubs linked with Chamakh over the summer.
“When I enter the pitch with Les Girondins, I think of my family, my friends and of the fans,” Chamakh told Le Parisien.
“What I try to do is represent my Moroccan roots the best I can and I also feel proud of coming from the country and playing for the great city of Bordeaux since 10 years of age.
“I do not lack anything here because I achieved all my dreams. But if one day, unfortunately, I am to leave, it will be for England.
“I fancy the English league.” (tribalfootball.com)

24-year-old Moroccan international Marouane has been a regular at Bordeaux for the last seven seasons without being too prolific. However, he has been instrumental in the success of his Argentinean teammate Fernando Cavenaghi, and the pair helped Laurent Blanc’s side into the Champions League this term. I am not sure Chamakh has what it takes to be on Harry’s radar, as he is not in the same league as the strikers already at the club. Who should the new Tottenham boss buy in January?
