Having previously pondered the question of who are the underachievers in the top tier of English football, it seemed only fair to look at those players who have somehow managed to fool everyone into believing they have talent!

Far be it from me to suggest some names that fit the bill, as to do so would probably make me a much hated man indeed. However I can think of a great many players who spring to mind, can you?

1 Gerrard - fantastic leader for liverpool, brilliant premiership player. but not world class or best in the world as scousers or The Sun would have you believe
2 Toure - has been a premiership center half for how many years, still cant defend a cross (or long throw)
3 Wes Brown - “Englands Best Natural Defender” cos sir fergie said so and all the manyoo mugs believed him
4 Dunne - our very own dunny the bear, so long massively underated by everyone, now makes more mistakes than ever but somehow everyone outside the club thinks he is mustard
5 Santa Cruz - great achievement to score so many goals in first prem season. but people only look at his record on paper, not the fact he is a very limited footballer
6 Peter Crouch - another darling of the scouse fans. “good touch for a big man” … not really. its ok, not great. offers nothing else other than being big
7 Dos Santos - reasoning can be applied to any player spurs sign really, they read a few continental reports and think they signed the next ronaldinho!
8 Downing - toss. but can kick with his left foot so gets and england call-up
cant think of any others… but some words of defence to names which will undoubtably appear.
Rooney - fantastic talent, victim of the english media making him a world beater at 18 and being made to play out of position so doesnt score enough. Lampard - because he is a cunt, and scored with a few deflections people forget what a great player he is.
Cech - Don’t be so stupid. Watched Euro 2008 did we?

1 Terry - Chelsea - Nothing without Carvalleo. Lacks pace and can be exposed
2 Owen - Newcastle - Plays only for Owen no one else
3 Beckham - LA Galaxy - Image over quality for some time. Never been best player in England let alone the World
4 Jenas - Spurs - How is is rated? What does he do?
5 Gallas - Arsenal - covered by Toure all the time.
6 Dyer - West Ham - what has he done? Terribel waste of talent due to injury and attitude.
7 Taylor - Newcastle - Liability to say the least. Terrible player.
