TOP 10 Premier League Strikers Ever: Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea, West Ham, Newcastle fans VOTE NOW!
by Mr Comfort on November 11th, 2008 168 words | 50 commentsAs Andy Cole decides to call an end to a fantastic Premier League career, it seemed like an opportune time to consider the subject of who would make it into the list of top ten strikers since the rebranding of English football’s top tier.
Claim your FREE bet right now!
There will of course be the more obvious names to consider, from Shearer to Owen. The likes of Henry and Sheringham are bound to get a mention, as well as current hotshots like Torres and Robbie Keane, but now it’s over to you.
As usual, we have a lovely cut and paste thingy for you to fill (or partially complete), and remember your list doesn’t necessarily have to be the top scorers of the last 15 or so years, but could in fact include those who were only present for a short period of time but made a sufficient impact to make the list.

1) Robbie Fowler. (undoubtedly the most natural finisher I have ever seen)
Steven Gerrard. (Better in any position than 99.999999999999999% of the population)
2) Thierry Henry. (effortless class personified)
3) Dennis Bergkamp. (the beautiful game)
4) Ian Rush. (Goal scoring machine)
5) Alan Shearer. (See above)
6) Fernando Torres. (Everything you want from a striker)
7) Wayne Rooney. (All round player)
9) Ian Wright. (Awesome finisher)
10) Michael Owen. (Natural finisher)

@Lee, regarding your comment on Ian Rush. He played in the premier league and scored more goals in one season that anybody else mentioned here, by about ten goals, so you may as well shut up.
