Newcastle supporters: Does Joe Kinnear deserve a long-term contract for his efforts?

Instead of shying away from the opportunity, Kinnear has jumped head-on into the mess and has tried his best to get the club out of their current hole. For his effort, Kinnear is now asking for a new contract for his services!
Interim Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear has admitted he hopes to win a deal until the end of the season.
Kinnear was brought in by Magpies owner Mike Ashley on a temporary basis following the shock departure of Kevin Keegan in September.
The former Nottingham Forest boss initially joined Newcastle on a one-month deal, which was then extended until the end of November as the club continue to look for new owners.
Kinnear is due to meet Ashley after this weekend’s game with Chelsea to find out how the sale of the club is progressing and he is planning to discuss his future with the Magpies owner. (Sky Sports)

Maybe not another season but I think he should stay to the end of this season. Doing well under very difficult circumstances.

i thinkle he should stay till club is sorted out ( sold ) and then we will need to see.
I dont think he is a manager that could attract big players if we got a billionaire owner. so if we get an owner that is willing to spend big get rid of joe and get in shearer or keegan back.
but if we get an owner who is not a billionaire then i think joe should stay for time being,
dont get me wrong im very rateful ta joe and i think he will do a good job on a low budget but in long term we need shearer in there with a good new owner and get rid of wise asap
