Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are said to be looking at Carlo Cudicini.
It is inevitable that Harry Redknapp will make a move for a new goalkeeper when the transfer window reopens, due to the increasingly erratic form of Heurelho Gomes.
The Spurs boss has been told he will have cash to spend in January, and he hopes to solve his shot-stopper problems by luring Cudicini from London rivals Chelsea.
The Italian remains second choice behind Petr Cech at Stamford Bridge, and although he seems happy with this situation, could he be tempted to prove his quality by playing regular Premier League football? (fansfc.com)
Now this is more like it. I have for some time now, even before Gomes came in, been suggesting this signing as a solid pair of hands that could greatly help Tottenham. Many would question the ambition of a player who has managed just 25 Premier League starts since Petr Cech arrived at Chelsea over four years ago, but surely if a club the size and potential of Spurs came in for the Italian, he would jump at the chance? Can White Hart Lane supporters name a better keeper to sign?

Cudicini is happy on the bench at Chelski. 25 games in 4 years and not one complaint ,is the sign of a guy who is happy to pick up big money for doing nothing.

jimmy Bullard will sign for Spurs in January.
I am a good friend of Peter Dean who was Gravesend chairman whom had Jimmy on there books, he is a good friend of his and Jimmy has told him he is going to Spurs in the window.

They definately need to get a new goalkeeper or they’re going to lose matches that they needn’t lose.
Cuducini would be a very good buy. But as far as Spurs is concerned, the new signing doesn’t have to be very good to be better than Gomes….

I think carlo would be a good signing but i thing we should get cherny back in goal
he done really good for tottenham hotspurs and i was really upset when he didn’t get to play in the final of the carling cup

cuducini would be a good short term replacement for gomes but he only has a couple of mseasons in him, i think we should splash out a little and get Foster,Green or Hart

While i agree thta gomes is having a bad run i still think our team are struggling playing 451 .When harry and ramos before him played this midfield we struggled fans need to look at the big picture against bolton we played better when they lost a man and the same at city liverpool we got hammered until we went 442 every game we start on the back foot because bent is isolated upfront and our midfield without hutton at the back and lennon is to static for 451 lets look at it in more detail bentley likes to run and cross bent is picked of by two centre halfs ball is lost .Jenas likes to play one twoes across the field and gets hemmed in and loses the ball moderic plays two deep and tom need two targets to aim for cambpell or pav should play and lennon is a must .This team should have started at fulham and i think it would have won sanchez because of gomes is injury )hutton dawson woodgate king .. bentley corluka hudds lennon pav bent to big units and two fast midfielders foand two strikers king cant jump any more with is ankles but could play left back away from home and play a different team at home
