Who ya got? Predict the WINNER of the Manchester City/Arsenal match!
by offsidetrap on November 22nd, 2008Saturday brings a massive slate of tasty Premier League matches for one and all! We’re looking for the COS commentariat to give us their thoughts and predictions on today’s critical match between Manchester City and Arsenal.
Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal…what more can be said about the club right now? William Gallas lifted the lid on Arsenal’s problems this week, airing the club’s dirty laundry for all to see in an attack-laced tirade. The tirade has led to Wenger dropping Gallas from the squad and stripping him of his captaincy.
But that’s not the only problem. Arsene Wenger’s men also have to figure out to now win a match that could make or break their season. After losing to Aston Villa last weekend, the Gunners cannot afford another loss at this critical juncture. The injury woes will add to the difficulty of the match. Theo Walcott is out for three months after he dislocated his shoulder, while Kolo Toure, Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Eboue will not feature as well.
Manchester City also face a difficult match as well. Mark Hughes’ squad have won one of their last eight match, including a gut-wrenching 2-2 draw against Hull last weekend. Adding to the stress of this match is the injury waiting game Hughes must play with his players on international duty.
So who ya got? Are you taking Manchester City or Arsenal? Give us your scoreline and goalscorers below.

We’ve only beaten Arsenal twice in 17 years at home (1991 and 2006) and we rarely cope with their passing game. However, this season we have 4 or 5 players that are equally as devastating as Arsenal have to offer in Robinho, Ireland, Wright-Phillips, Elano and so I predict a 2-1 win to Manchester City. Goals will come from Robinho and Kompany.

No Cesc = No Chance.
Theo walcott obviously not going to be there either, add to that the fact that galas was dropped, due to his outting of that cunt Van Persie, and defensively they are set up to let City past them a ton.
3 - 1 MCFC
