Real Madrid want Arsenal boss, then Chelsea manager and finally Liverpool supremo!

Real Madrid aim to capitalise on the turmoil at Arsenal by swooping for manager Arsene Wenger in the summer.
The under-pressure Gunners boss heads a list of world-class candidates drawn up by the Spanish giants as possible replacements for their coach Bernd Schuster. While Wenger is the No1 choice to take charge at the Bernabeu, Chelsea’s Luiz Felipe Scolari and Liverpool counterpart Rafa Benitez are Real’s other top targets, in that order.
It is not the first time that Wenger has attracted the interest of Real, who will still sack Schuster at the end of the season despite giving the German a vote of confidence last week.
That will pave the way for Real’s third attempt in six years to lure the Frenchman away from north London.
Should Wenger say ‘non’ again, though, the reigning Spanish champions would give Brazilian Scolari second refusal before turning to his Kop rival Benitez. (Sunday Express)
So there you have it, the La Liga champions are apparently outlining a move for three of the traditional top four bosses, why not go the whole hog and consider a swoop for Sir Alex to complete the set! I really don’t know where this paper got the ‘scoop’ from, but I think there is a little chance that any of these three will be leaving their clubs anytime soon. Scolari only just got to Chelsea and has done a fine job, Rafa is beginning to get closer to that elusive Premier League title and Arsene will be keen to get his Arsenal train back on track.
Do fans of any of these three teams think that the Sunday Express may have uncovered something of a coup, or is it more likely this story has been formed solely within the mind of a bored journo?

please please let this rumour be true and Wenger might fuck off. Although I suspect its another of Arsenes peoples lies and spin. Funny the way these stories always come out whenever Wenger is trying to milk another pay rise or in this case when hes under severe pressure. Theres as much chance of pigs flying as Madrid chasing Wenger, please dont forget that at the big clubs the manager is expected to win things and as we all know, winning isnt the most important thing to Arsene, which fits in nicely with the Arsenal board whos motto is also “winning isnt everything, money is”

I think you will find that they wanted the Liverpool supremo first followed by Wenger and then the Chelsea boss.

although most big clubs judge a managers performance by how many titles they win. clubs like barcelona and real madrid are different. the fans pratically run the show. if the team isn’t playing attractive football then they get shown the door. bernd schuster has got real madrid playing boring football. his job is then under threat. frank rijkaard had a bad season last year. he lost his job. josep guardiola has barcelona playing in my view. the best football of any team in the world right now. his job is safe.
