I think we’ll look back at the last two 0-0 draws at home and say we lost the league here.
Just not good enough. When I think we could have been 10 points ahead of utd, what a difference that would have made.
We look poor at the minute.
However, we normally come on strong in the 2nd half of the season, but from way back. If we are in touch come feb we’ll have a sniff.

but remember united come very strong traditionally after xmas

every single liverpool player was crap. gerrard looked like he wanted to be somewhere else and we had absolutely no attacking ideas full stop.
as for robbie keane - my god, he could be headed for the tag of “worst liverpool player ever” (which is pretty impressive given some of our buys). that boy needs to knuckle down and work hard.
tottenham’s accountant must be laughing.
i doubt we can win the league. As Spion points out, we’ve just not been good enough. Teams should be fearing coming to Anfield, like they do with Man Ure and Chelski. Instead, they know they can sit back and soak up the attacking pressure - which at the moment is nowt.
come on liverpol don't lose point we have 2 win every match - December 2nd, 2008 at 1:16 pm

i agree last two draws r what will eventually cost us the league . man what a bad performance ..

the team can win, but the tactics of rafa are making losing the title. robbie is not so fast anymore, he needs a strike partner who can drag defenders with him. means the latter shud have pace. i do not understand how he can put yossi, riera and robbie in the same line up. that is definitely too slow! babel needs a good run in the team otherwise we will lose him.
rafa: i felt we deserved to win. BS! U DONT WIN TITLES WITH ‘I FELT’. n ur rotation system is killing liver again. n stop buying youngsters if u cant play them. future is far, we need the title NOW. no wonder hicks doesnt want to spend when he sees wat rafa does with the cash

West ham created chances.
The problem is that carlton cole needs to practice his finishing. We need a goalscorer.
I would quite like to see kevin doyle in a west ham shirt.

Liverpool should be gutted they have failed to take a decent lead with the chance against West Ham at home. Then again so should Chelsea after some dissapointing home results. My moneys still on Utd…

Omg the so called redshite ’supporters’ go top of the league and you boo the team off? Ahaha its funny man ure and chelsea keep on handing you the advantage back on a plate and you fuck it up yet again enjoy your extra ‘week’ on top because you wont be there long, again! No torress and stevie me wasnt up to it just shows how much of a two man team you really are clowns!

Liverpool are lacking creativity at the moment. Small rafa needs some players with some attacking flare. Any suggestions?

“I would quite like to see kevin doyle in a west ham shirt.”
Think that sums up just how obvious it was that we should have beaten them.
bigrafa, we need to sign someone like Kuba, or El Zhar to play more. El zhar would have been much more influential than Benayoun as he has the tricks and pace as well. Maybe Rafa was simply putting Beni in the shop window? Back fired though as i think his value will have dropped even more based on that performance.

Still lads, we are top of the league playing badly. We will improve after the new year as we always do. It’s not over by a long shot. It’s goign to be one of those seasons when everyone drops more points than normal.

Well at least they’re on the top. It may just be rough times but I’d reckon if MU and Arsenal can claim their crappy start to this season as “rough times” this might qualify as “a consolation to rough times”. Sheesh, it just two games. Just like Arsenal. Just one victory over Chelsea and they say their in the title race although their chances are next to nothing. MU shouldn’t dream of an xmas comeback because it will just be a dream this time. Looks like it might be down to Liverpool and Chelseas this season. Chelsea may have lost some games but Liverpool looks shaky without Fernando Torres… Some how they seem to have relied to much on him.

we need to sell keane, kuyt, lucas, vorronin, benayeun and pennant and buy a decent striker like eto or Agbonlahor, a right midfielder like ashley young or Schweinsteiger and some good full backs.
