Another day, another couple of internationals linked with a move to the blue half of Manchester!
Manchester City are planning a double raid on Sevilla next month.
Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano and midfielder Diego Capel are both major targets for City boss Mark Hughes.
City are willing to offer £20 million for Brazil international Fabiano, says Sport. Sevilla have claimed they won’t sell for less than Fabiano’s £45 million buyout clause, but it’s understood they’re willing to negotiate. (tribalfootball.com)
Diego Capel is one hell of a talented youngsterb who was of course very close to joining Spurs in the summer, a move that may be back on this January. The Spanish international has apparently been quoted as saying he is open to offers, but only from foreign clubs. This rules out advances from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid, both of whom have expressed an interest in the winger previously.
Fabiano is a troubled character who has been in top form for 18 months, which have seen the Brazilian net 40 goals in 53 games for Sevilla. However, he is a temperamental lad who does have a habit of getting himself sent off, most recently last weekend against Barcelona for an elbowing incident. Whilst Mark Hughes has a number of fellow Brazilian internationals at the clubn I think the Eastlands outfit could well do with trying to sign Capeln but steering clear of the former Porto striker.
Do Man City fans like the look of either of these potential signings?
