Don’t get to watch most matches (live in Canada) but these are switches i would make not that they’re realistic.

Very difficult to say who we are likely to bring in, but what we won’t do is sell McDonald (30 odd goals last season) and/or McManus (team captain)! Astonishing selection from James Greene. You’re right, they’re not realistic.
I do like the sound of Sylvinho and Stilic, but we couldn’t afford Bale - I’d be looking for a replacement for Mark Brown, we need a good stand-in for the Holy Goalie and Mark Brown ain’t it.
To leave, well, Massimo can go, but won’t; Naylor can go, and will. Killen when he’s fit should move on, No. 3 is very difficult we’re not a selling club, as we’re often told, so I’d be surprised if we sold three players.

You’re very right lol, I just don’t see McDonald accomplishing what he did last season and now Sheridan blooming into a fine young player he (McDonald) might not be a vital part of the team. I just don’t like McManus (not that I know him personally) he just doesn’t excite me as a player. But I do agree we need a quality keeper to back up Boruc, Don’t know much about the american lad we signed this summer so hopefully we could remidate that problem in january.

Agree that McManus is the weaklink in defence, but think you need to keep him in the squad at least untill the summer and help us to win 4iar.
But Loovens should partner heid for a run of games to see how they develop as a pairing before letting lumper (McManus) go.

No, DerryDuck, that’s severely lacking in ambition. We’re out of europe because we sign much of a muchness players without adding quality in key positions. It’s time to invest in players with winning mentalities who can come in and improve the TEAM and not just add to the sqaud. This will help the development of those younger players who have had to take leadership roles before they are ready to do so. no more sqaud players, please!!

1. We need a left back so we would be getting a half decent left back in Erlend Hanstveit for free.
2. I think Craig Bellamy would be a tremendous coup to get a second time (remember how he ran the huns ragged at Ibrox and scored the best hattrick I’ve seen at Tannadice). Probably on loan or maybe even on the cheap at £3-4 million if West Ham are cutting their wage bill.
3. Semir Stilic appears to be highly rated for a youngster and could be another Petrov (ie top young Eastern European talent)
