This hotshot striker is looking forward to seeing his former club’s supporters but will they give him the love and admiration he deserves?
“I never got a chance to say goodbye because it (the move) was done pre-season,” Trundle told BBC Wales.
“Hopefully I will get a good reception because Swansea is a club that I love and the fans meant a big part for me.” (BBC Sport)
Lee Trundle is one of those players who you either love or hate, kind of like a footballing equivalent of marmite the Liverpudlian striker is set to face his former club for the first time since he made the £1m move in the summer of 2007 to Bristol City. The 32 year old had a fantastic spell at the Welsh outfit, scoring 86 goals in 156 starts so surely Swansea fans will stand to applaud the striker on Saturday, won’t they?
