Aaron Lennon and Jamie O’Hara have emerged as the two players Spurs could use to tempt Liverpool into selling Robbie Keane.
Tottenham chief Harry Redknapp is a huge admirer of the hard – working Irishman, whose Anfield future was in doubt even before he was dropped for Saturday’s win at Blackburn.
Reds boss Rafa Benitez and Anfield chief executive Rick Parry insisted last night that the league leaders want to hold on to the striker.
But Spurs hope a £5m cash offer, plus £10m rated Lennon and £5m-rated O’Hara could see Keane make a dramatic return. (Daily Mirror)

I think this source is getting a little carried away to be honest. It’s like they worked out which players have been previously linked with a move to the Merseyside outfit (Aaron Lennon) added a makeweight of choice (Jamie O’Hara) and then added the extra cash to make the maths add up! Apart from anything else, surely the England winger is worth more than £10m! (Peter Crouch cost Portsmouth £9m!) Firstly I find it unlikely that Harry Redknapp would offer the resurgent Lennon as part of any deal as he has been more like his old self in recent weeks and I also find it unlikely that Robbie Keane would just give up his Anfield move so soon and Rafa is unlikely to accept this deal either way as he apparently needs cold hard cash and not players if he is to re-invest in the transfer window. Do Tottenham fans think this deal could possibly be on the cards and more importantly would they even want Keane back anyway?
