Some good news for Gooners!
Arsenal striker Eduardo will return to competitive action in a reserve game against Portsmouth on 16 December.
There were fears for his career after he suffered a fractured left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle at Birmingham on 23 February.
But the 25-year-old Croatian’s rehabilitation has gone well and Wenger said last week: “He is joining in full training matches but needs games now.”

So that is indeed good news for Eduardo, Wenger and Arsenal fans and not a moment too soon! The Croatian international is a top notch striker who’s season ending injury thanks to essentially being assaulted on the field of play could be seen as the catalyst for the end of the club’s title push as the next seven Premier League fixtures following the St Andrews incident ended with the Emirates outfit collecting just seven points. It will be great to see the 25 year old back in action and I am sure everyone will be hoping he will be back to his best as soon as possible.
Not that Gunners fans will need encouraging but why not make a date of it and get to the game and cheer the striker on!
