Real Madrid have sacked Bernd Schuster as coach and replaced the German with the former Sevilla and Tottneham manager Juande Ramos.
Real are fifth in the Primera Liga, nine points behind Barcelona who they face in El Clasico on Saturday.
The Madrid board had given Schuster several votes of confidence before Sunday’s 4-3 home defeat by Sevilla.
Schuster, 48, admitted after the match that his side was incapable of winning at Barcelona. (BBC Sport)
Yes you read correctly, weeks after being sacked by Tottenham Mr. Ramos has managed to bag the Real Madrid job! Clearly Harry Redknapp has done a fantastic job since taking over at White Hart Lane and the Spurs supporters will not have missed Juande too much but how do the fans feel about his new job, is it what he deserves or will he be lucky to last out the season at the Bernabeu?

I think Ramos is a good manager when it comes to the fitness of the players. Jol was an awesome manager who would have made us brilliant had he worked on our fitness. We tired towards the end of games and let in goals all over the place.
That is why Ramos won us the cup, he took jol’s squad who played well together and made them fit enough to keep going and going.
But he had no communication with players, he was in the country for over a year and could bearly string a sentence of english together.
Going back to Spain where he can speak with his players and they can understand what he wants from them and who understand his tactics and style of play.
Good luck to him, think he will get them back into the champions league position and then sign a new contract.

romas is one of the best managers in the world , his only problem at spurs was lack of communication between him and the players .
but , no matter who manages real madrid , they are still gonna lose 2 barca on saturday , barca is invincible this year , god i wish spurs players could learn something from the barca players , they should be watching their games more often.

why the big surprise? it was the press that drummed Jol out and the press that drummed Ramos out. Both are fantastic managers and I doubt if Harry Redknapp could hold a candle to either – except in dealing with the press.

I always thought that Ramos was a mint manager for Spurs tho. Just had a bad start to the season.
