This midfielder is on Juande Ramos’s wish-list but no doubt Harry will be keen to keep hold of this vastly improved performer.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Didier Zokora could be on his way to Real Madrid during the January transfer window if the Spanish giants come up with an offer.
Real Madrid’s new boss Juande Ramos, who had been sacked at Spurs in October, has shown keen interest in the player and could be taking him to the La Liga in the New Year.
Ramos mentioned to the Spanish media that Zokora was one of the few players who really impressed him during his time at the White Hart Lane.
Zokora hinted that he is looking forward to reuniting with Ramos and said: “I’m in the world’s biggest league, so it will be hard to find something better.
“But I’ve never hidden my interest in playing in La Liga. Juande Ramos was not to blame for our poor results at Tottenham. They were down to the players on the pitch.” (Premiershiplatest.com)
Now that Ramos has become the Real Madrid boss he will of course be linked with a raft of Tottenham players and Didier is indeed one of many he may or may not be considering bidding for. Zokora has improved greatly under Redknapp and Spurs will be keen to turn down any such bid should it come in, the comments attributed to the Ivorian in this piece are a little bit contradictory but lets face it Real Madrid are probably one of the three biggest football clubs on the planet so when they come calling players will tend to listen intently. Do Tottenham fans feel Ramos will raid the club?
