8. Fernando Cavenaghi (Bordeaux – Liverpool)
The 25-year-old forward has been in superb form for Bordeaux having scored 22 goals in his debut season; would shore up Liverpool’s squad given that they are set to lose Daniel Agger to Milan.

6. Darijo Srna (Shakhtar Donetsk -Tottenham)
The Croatia winger would give an injection of pace to Harry Redknapp’s team, but Liverpool are also reportedly interested.

5. Vincenzo Iaquinta (Juventus – Arsenal)

Isn’t interesting that not that many players are linked with moves to Chelsea at present? Is this a sign of their squad being as good as it can be or more a sign that Roman won’t throw money around like in the good old days!
