Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is chasing AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato.
The People says Wenger is hot on the trail of Brazilian wonder kid Pato, and hopes to make a move next month.
The 19-year-old striker has made a big impact at Milan and Wenger needs to add to his firepower.
Pato has struggled for first team action this season and his future has come into question. With Milan tying up a deal for Fluminense defender Thiago Silva, if he is to play this term one of the club’s non-European players will have to be offloaded in January. (tribalfootball.com)

This is a far fetched premise that is not really likely to happen. In Pato, AC Milan have probably one of the top five teenage talents in the world and whilst he hasn’t been a solid starter this term he has had a fair amount of action given who else is currently in the pecking order. Carlo Ancelotti may well have to offload one of his non-EU players but the idea that it would be Alexandre is laughable! Wenger is known to be a big fan but the likelihood of this transfer occurring is next to zero! The People have clearly come up with this idea from thin air and to be honest Arsene already has his fair share of excellent young talents and is in more need of some experienced heads. Who do Gunners fans think the club should sign in January?
