Liverpool ready to make £6m move for no nonsense defender!

Hull City centre-half Michael Turner is a target for Liverpool.
Liverpool could make a move for him next month or wait until the end of the season.
Turner – a shrewd capture from Brentford – has starred for Phil Brown’s Tigers side and would command a huge fee if Liverpool decide he is the man to eventually replace 35-year-old Sami Hyypia. (tribalfootball.com)
Under the management of Phil Brown Hull City have done incredibly well and are as near to the top of the table as they are to the relegation zone and one of the reasons for this comes down to a great team ethic and no one at the KC Stadium embodies that as well as centre back Michael Turner who has been immense at the club. Apparently the former Charlton trainee arrived at the club for £350k two and a half years ago and apparently he is now valued in the £6m bracket and the 25 year old would be sure to be interested in a move to Liverpool if indeed it was a possibility. Do Anfield supporters think that Turner is good enough to consider as a centre back signing?

good player but u dont need him but has agger signed yet if he does leave i would rather see youngsters move into backup role instead of a 6m sigining waste of money to me.

YES, LET AGGER PLAY AND FORGET ABOUT NEW DEFENDERS. INSTEAD, FINE A REPLACEMENT FOR ROBBIE KEANE.

Liverpool will not progress to be a longlasting premiership champions under rafa.its clear and simple that rotation does not work because a ‘team’ needs to be cohesive , and this can only happen if the same players play every week.Rotation means fighting to get every single trophy. But u cant just get everything each season ,isn,t it…setting a target of maximum of 2 major trophies seems reasonable enough.Thats how the mancs won leagues on the trot without rotating.Liverpool have by far the most exciting squad.Just that rotation sucks and exciting players like Babel and El Zhar are not playing enough.

Hyypia was played (as he has been against all lower teams), to combat the high ball being played up to a target man. It has worked brilliantly when needed. Agree with the majority though, get Agger signed and get him playing against Arsenal.
