This source suggests that the Gunners are one of a many Premier League sides looking at this young front man as a potential buy, however surely this French international will be most attracted by the lure of signing for a Mr. Wenger?
A host of Premiership clubs are seeking talks with former Tottenham sports chief Damien Comolli.
Comolli now holds a similar job at St Etienne and French sources say he is fielding enquiries for star striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
Newcastle, Everton, Arsenal and Manchester City are all keen on Gomis, who could be cashed in next month to fund St Etienne’s own transfer plans. (tribalfootball.com)
23 year old has been compared to TH14 by some but whenever I have seen him in action for club or country he has looked and played more like Adebayor. Not so likely to pull off a fantastic run and finish but more a player with a lot of strength and a good player to feed off of. He has been linked with a move from the struggling Ligue 1 side for some time but given the perilous position his club finds itself in (two points off the relegation zone) after a 5th place finish last term, the forward may seek to push for a departure sooner rather than later. Wenger is of course known for signing lesser known players and making them big names and for me a player like Gomis could well be a potential contender for a move to the Emirates. Do Arsenal fans think the club needs to buy a striker or do they need to fill other areas of concern first?
Brand New Feature. (1-10 scale, One = Pure make believe, Ten = is a transfer all but complete)
