This source claims that the north London club will make a move to capture their neighbours’ most prized asset!
Fulham have put a staggering £6million price tag on unsettled Jimmy Bullard.
England midfielder Bullard is ready to leave Craven Cottage after failing to agree a new contract. Bullard’s wage demands are too high and Tottenham and Bolton may move in.
But Roy Hodgson will not allow him to leave for less than £6m because he has 18 months left on his current deal. Hodgson said: “There might be clubs who can offer him a contract that suits and match the transfer fee we think he’s worth.” (Sunday Mirror)
I am a big fan of Jimmy Bullard, he is a player who has shown that it is possible to fight your way from the lower leagues and into the Premier League and England reckoning. After failing to make it at West Ham the 29 year old made an impact in the lower leagues with Peterborough and then became a hero at Wigan Athletic before he made the move to Craven Cottage where his mercurial displays have gotten the attention of Fabio Capello. The price tag in today’s market is a bargain to say the least and the attacking midfielder could be just what Harry Redknapp could do with to further aid the club’s return to form. Do Tottenham fans think a move for the loveable cockney would be a good one?
