Wenger is apparently set to make another move to sign this talented Serie A star.
Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler is a target for Arsenal.
The Sunday Express says the Switzerland international is on the January shopping list of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
Wenger had a major bid for Inler turned down by Udinese in the summer. (tribalfootball.com)
Of all the players linked with a January move to the Emirates so far I think this one is the most likely. The young Swiss international came mighty close to joining the club in the summer and the north London club’s need for midfield presence just got bigger as Fabregas is ruled out with injury for around a month. The club haven’t bought players to replace Flamini and Gilberto Silva and some say that this failing has been the biggest reason for the clubs stuttering season. Inler is a talented midfielder and is the kind of player who Arsene would bring in, a player who is not a household name but has bags of potential, luckily at 24 he has a grounding of experience and is in his second full season of Serie A action at Udinese. Do Gunners fans think the club should spend big this January?
